Laura Hunt

Laura Hunt is a Sydney based artist and musician. Her work lies at the intersection of performance, video and installation. Influenced by how inaudible, subliminal and instrumental sound affects us; Hunt creates works formed by a desire to be re-shaped by sound. Her work has been exhibited and performed in Australia and internationally – most notably, Double Vision and The Museum of Contemporary Art Sydney with WDK, Underbelly Arts Island Salon in collaboration with Nikki Walkerden and The Sydney Opera House with band Ghastly Spats. Hunt has recently completed a residency at Cité International Des Arts – Paris.
