Rebekah Raymond is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander woman and an emerging curator, writer, and artist. On her mother’s side, Rebekah is Arabana from the Lake Eyre area in South Australia, and on her father’s side, she traces her lineage to Kakadu, Cape York, and the Torres Strait Islands.
Rebekah grew up in the Northern Territory on Limilingan (Limingun) and Wulna Country in the small town of Humpty Doo, and on Larrakia Country in Darwin. She is now living, studying and working on Gadigal land in Sydney.
Siân McIntyre is a Sydney based artist and curator and recent MFA graduate from UNSW Art and Design. Currently Directing Verge Gallery, Sydney, Siân was also a Co-Founding Director of The Paper Mill project space in Sydney’s CBD. Siân has exhibited in Sydney, New York, Glasgow, San Francisco, Sweden and Darwin. Her curatorial and fine art practice is based on social engagement and is informed by intermittent work at Papunya Tjupi Arts, NT. In 2013 she undertook a practicum exchange placement at Glasgow School of Arts where she was inspired by the critical dialogue and public programs provided by small galleries. Her future projects aim to introduce this model of creative platforms and critical conversation into a range of spaces.
