Conversations
This noise composition contains samples of voices that may offend and cacophonous crackles that have the potential to trigger the trauma of tinnitus. As part of Runway Conversations’ regional artist/writer bursary program the following data was compiled from collected and recorded sounds, interviews, performances and ongoing conversations as an audience member at Liveworks 2018. The underlying discussions and debates took place over 9 days and focussed the residual effects and business of liveness in contemporary performance art while considering the role of Australia within the Asia Pacific region.
