OBLIVION

Bella Li is the author, artist, and designer of books of poetry and visual art — Argosy (2017), Lost Lake (2018), and Theory of Colours (2021), published by Vagabond Press — which have won the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for poetry, the New South Wales Premier’s Literary Award for poetry, and an Australian Book Designers Association award for book design. Her work has been published in a range of journals and books, including The Kenyon Review, Debris Magazine, and Art Writing in Crisis (Sternberg), and has been commissioned for publications by the National Gallery of Victoria, Heide Museum of Modern Art, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, and the Smithsonian Archives of American Art. She holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne and is a 2025 Ian Potter Creative Fellow.
