Tamsin Green

Tamsin Green is an artist and writer based in Melbourne. She completed a MFA at Monash University in 2009, and is a current teaching associate in the theory department at MADA. Tamsin has been involved in a number of artist run spaces, including as a committee member at Kings ARI from 2007 – 2010, where she co-coordinated an international exchange between the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop and Kings ARI. Tamsin also co-founded Light Projects, a free project space in Northcote, Melbourne. Tamsin has exhibited widely in Melbourne and Australia. Solo exhibitions include To and from the end of the world, at Conical Inc, and Looking at West Space. She has also curated a number of projects including Relay: repeat action over distance at Firsdraft in 2011, an exhibition that sought to address questions around performance and documentation. Tamsin has received an Art Start Grant from the Australia Council and an Arts Projects Grant from the City of Melbourne, as well as a number of other grants for collaborative projects. Tamsin has undertaken residencies with Level ARI in Brisbane and The Association for Icelandic Artists in Reykjavik, Iceland.
