Lucy Hawthorne

Lucy Hawthorne is a Hobart-based arts writer, artist and researcher, with a particular interest in site-specific and installation art, contemporary museology, and the architecture of art spaces.  She holds a PhD in art theory,  ‘The Museum as Art: site-specific in Australia’s public museums’ (2013).  She is the visual arts writer for Warp Magazine, and works as a curatorial research assistant and library assistant at MONA. She was a co-founding member of the siteless ARI, 10% Pending (2007-10), and did a short stint on the board of Constance ARI (2013-14).
