Katie Green

Katie Green is a community worker whose arts practice is informed by the lived experience of the marginalised people that she has worked with. Katie worked for three years at the Red Cross in a role that supported asylum seekers in Sydney on their release from immigration detention, and is now working with people on Nauru as a graduate lawyer for the National Justice Project. Katie’s recent film, theatre and written works have all used verbatim text, written in collaboration with people who are seeking asylum in Australia.
