Diana Smith is an Australian artist, writer and researcher. She is a founding member of performance and video art collective Brown Council, whose work has most recently been shown at the Museum of Contemporary Art (Sydney), Gallery of Modern Art (Brisbane) and The National Museum of Contemporary Art (Seoul). Diana’s writing has appeared in a range of art magazines and journals and she runs the feminist pedagogical project Sunday School, with artist Kelly Doey. Most recently, she has launched an online archive of video interviews with Australian performance artists through publisher Das Platforms. Diana is also a lecturer at the School of Art and Design, University of New South Wales, where she is currently completing her PhD.
