David Corbet is a freelance writer, curator and designer/artist, based in Sydney, working and travelling widely in Europe, South Asia, Africa and Latin America. He is currently completing a PhD at the University of Sydney’s College of the Arts. In 2011 he completed a MFA (Research) at UNSWAD in Sydney, and earlier completed graduate studies at Central St Martins School of Art (now University of the Arts) in London. He is the founder of DNA Projects Contemporary Art, developing hybrid art projects by emerging artists, designers and photographers, and founder of the design and communications consultancy DNA Creative. His personal creative practice encompasses installation, printmaking, photo/digital media, publication, broadcast and visual identity design.
