Darren Jorgensen

Darren Jorgensen lectures in art history at the University of Western Australia. He has published on Australian art in Artlink, The Blackwell Companion Guide to Globalisation and Contemporary Art, Eyeline, Performance Paradigm, Third Text, World Art and various academic journals. He also writes on science fiction, in the Journal of Science Fiction Film and Television, Red Planets: Marxism and Science Fiction and in The Routledge Companion to Science Fiction. He lives in the sprawling suburbs of Perth with two children, four chickens and numerous rabbits. Darren does not find the time to pursue numerous hobbies he would like to pursue, such as experimenting with sound and surfing.
