Georgia Stanton is a lawyer with an avid interest in contemporary art. Currently practicing in commercial law she works on both transactional and litigious matters. Prior to starting her law career she was an exhibited artist in several photography exhibitions in Sydney. Taking time out of her law degree she studied contemporary art theory at New York University. In 2015 she completed an honours thesis comparing Australian photographic works with criminal laws and presented that thesis at the University of Western Australia conference “Art in Law in Art” in 2017. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Public Communication) and a Bachelor of Laws – both with First Class Honours – from the University of Technology, Sydney.
