Ally Bisshop

Ally is an Australian artist, writer and researcher, who divides her time between Sydney and Berlin. After first completing a Science degree and working briefly as a microbiologist she switched her attention to art, undertaking studies in sculpture and installation practice at the College of Fine Arts (COFA) in Sydney.

In Berlin, Ally studied at the Universität der Künste (UDK) as a participant in the class of the Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson through his Institut für Raumexperimente ⎯ a five-year experiment in art pedagogy that concludes in March 2014. Ally is currently undertaking a PhD through the National Institute of Experimental Arts at COFA, Sydney.
