About the Issue:

WHO WILL GIVE TO ME THE FLOWERS OF LOVE?
I want to eat your lips but only after you pull this propaganda instrument from my throat.
stitch a document of revolution with the language of love. cut up the architecture of attachment for a new form of devotion. disseminate instructions on how to love when the world is burning, how to love and fight fascism, how to love between species, lands, celestial bodies, objects, concepts and machines. love as performance. love as an experiment. love as a sensory experience. love as an interactive game. is it ancient, digital or illusory? is it born of flowers or anchored in duty? does it swim deep like an anglerfish or flutter away like a dream–was it ever there in the first place?
We are interested in proposals that explore the theme of Love through, but not limited to:
About the Guest Editor:
Manisha Anjali is a writer and artist. She is the author of Electric Lotus (Incendium Radical Library Press, 2019). Manisha has exhibited at Bus Projects, c3 contemporary art space, SEVENTH Gallery, Melbourne Writers Festival, Queensland Poetry Festival, Emerging Writers Festival and Digital Writers Festival. She has been a recipient of BLINDSIDE’s Regional Arts Residency in Mooramong, a Writer-in-Residence at Incendium Radical Library, a Hot Desk Fellow at The Wheeler Centre and an Emerging Cultural Leader at Footscray Community Arts Centre. Manisha is the producer of Neptune: a dream archive and the Poetry Editor at The Lifted Brow.
Runway Journal publishes essays, interviews, poetry, video artworks, and internet-based media on our digital platform. Fees are paid to each contributor for text-based works ($300 - $450) and moving image works ($500 - $700).
