In response to Do The Right Thing (Spike Lee, 1989)
A young filmmaker’s tribute to Spike Lee asks the question, “How do we remember a film?”. The film explores the duality at play between cinema and memory, perceptual processing and retrieval.
Born in Zimbabwe in 1994, before immigrating to Australia in 2009, Paul’s style of filmmaking is informed by the relationships he has made during his time in Australia. Stories characterised by analogical situations, human limitations and themes of belonging.
